I have been a Drone Pilot North Wales since 2013 when drones first entered the public domain. I am based on the North Coast between Bangor and Conwy and specialise in mountain and coastal filming. I am CAA Approved and carry £5 million of public liability insurance.
As a locally based drone pilot, specialising in aerial filming, I have lots of contacts with land owners and of course have filmed at all of the popular filming locations as well as plenty that are a bit better hidden away. I have a choice of drones to suit your production requirements and budget and am currently flying the following:
DJI Inspire 2 X5s Pro – Capable of 5k Raw, Pro Res or H265.
Or for smaller budgets or shoots requiring greater portability I can offer the DJI Mavic Pro 2.
Being local to your shoot I can be flexible on weather and timings. If your shoot is only small then I am able to offer a half day rate without travel costs being incurred. On longer shoots I can offer a multi day rate without you incurring travel or accommodation costs. I know the main landowners and have worked most of the popular locations several times. I am an experienced mountaineer and know the Snowdonia mountains like the back of my hand.
