To mark the anniversary of the Anglesey National Landscape, Filmuphigh Productions was commissioned to capture the distinct character of Ynys Môn from the air and on the ground.
Spanning 221 square kilometers of protected coastline, Anglesey features some of the most dynamic environments in North Wales—from the sea stacks of South Stack (Ynys Lawd) and the historic lighthouse, to the secluded coves along the Anglesey Coastal Path and the iconic island of Ynys Llanddwyn.
Using state-of-the-art 4K aerial drone technology alongside ground-based cinema cameras, we captured the changing light, wild weather, and timeless landscapes that make this island a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Safe, CAA-compliant high-definition aerial cinematography showcasing Anglesey’s rugged sea cliffs, coastal geology, and sweeping beaches.
Combining natural audio, dramatic lighting, and fluid camera movement to evoke the unique atmosphere of the Welsh coast.
Highlighting key landmarks including the Menai Strait, Anglesey’s prehistoric monuments, and its rich maritime biodiversity.

This film was created for Anglesey Council to be shown as part of the 60th anniversary of Anglesey becoming an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This was a fairly last minute project and we only had 3 weeks from receiving the location list to the film being shown at the council launch event. Thankfully we got the weather and it all came together nicely.
