I have been aerial filming on the Northern Carneddau in Snowdonia today, shooting some of the stone circles and burial mounds that are abundant in this neck of the woods. I have been working as a freelance drone pilot for local media company, Tape Media. Their project aims to document the archeological sites from the ground and from the air to make people more aware of their existence and historical importance. For part of the project I am working with the Snowdonia National Park archeologist and so am learning lots along the way! It was stunningly beautiful today, with snow on the mountains – the wind was at the top end of what I like to fly in though!
