Mountain Cameraman – ITV Wales 16th January 2017

Mountain Cameraman I have been working as a mountain cameraman for ITV Wales today. We were filming in the Carneddau, here in Snowdonia, for an episode of Coast & Country with presenter Andrew Price. As is often the case on these projects we were a small team – just Andrew presenting and me doing camera, sound and drone. I enjoy the flexibility of this style of working – we can be creative and keep things realistic – filming documentary style…

Busy Times 27th September 2016

I have got 6 film projects on the go at the moment for various different clients across the UK and so I am doing a fair amount of travelling, filming and flying. A big chunk of freelance time this summer was spent working with Alistair Lee from Posing Productions on his new film Bloc Heads. This is the first time that Al has worked with…

I have been working in Sardinia this week on an aerial destination photography shoot for Thomson Holidays, gathering stills and video for their 2017 marketing campaign for the Island. DJI Inspire Travel Mode A quick tip to solve the problem of the DJI Inspire not going into travel mode: The DJI Inspire Travel Mode is designed to allow the DJI Inspire to fold down flat and fit into it’s travel case during transit. It’s a nifty little feature and feels pretty cool the first couple of times that you do it. Every now and again it seems to have a glitch. Have you ever tried to get the Inspire…
