Mountain Safety Filming 20th January 2016

I have been filming a mountain safety film this week. Today has been stunning on the mountains of Snowdonia and I got some beautiful aerial footage of Snowdon and Crib Goch in all their wintery glory. Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Aerial Filming I have been at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, aerial filming for a production company this morning. The aqueduct was undertaken by Thomas Telford, with the first stone being laid in 1795. It is over 1000ft long and 126 ft high and makes a dramatic sight from any angle as a barge goes across. Our latest film is out today. It is a short 5 minute film featuring mountain runner Kate Worthington and has been put together for the BMC Women in Adventure Series. Kate is a Snowdonia based runner, mother, business owner, mountain rescue team member and someone who loves being in the mountains.
